Introduction

RoutineLoop (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.

Data Collection

What we collect: Anonymous usage statistics only.

RoutineLoop does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All your data — tasks, reminders, cycles, categories, and preferences — is stored exclusively on your device using a local SQLite database. Your task data never leaves your device.

To improve the app, we collect anonymous usage statistics through Google Firebase Analytics — for example, that onboarding was completed, that a routine was created, or that a notification was tapped. These events contain no task titles, notes, contacts, or any other personal content. Advertising ID collection and ad personalization are disabled.

v1.0 Scope: RoutineLoop v1.0 stores all data locally on your device. It does NOT transmit any task, contact, reminder, or personal data to external servers. All notifications are delivered locally on your device. External notification types (email, SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram) are not available in v1.0 and no data is sent for these purposes.

What we do NOT do:

• We do not collect personal information (names, emails, phone numbers)
• We do not track your location
• We do not access your contacts or photos (unless you explicitly link a contact)
• We do not collect your Advertising ID or use analytics for advertising
• We do not sell or share any data with third parties for their own purposes

Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device in a SQLite database file. This includes:

• Task definitions and categories
• Cycle history and completion records
• Notification preferences
• App settings

We cannot access your data. It never leaves your device.

Notifications

RoutineLoop uses Android's local notification system to remind you of tasks. These notifications:

• Are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device
• Do not require an internet connection
• Are not transmitted to any server
• Can be disabled at any time through your device's notification settings

Permissions requested:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — To display task reminders
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM — To deliver reminders at the precise time you set
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — To reschedule reminders after your device restarts

Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all your data
• You can use the “Reset Database” option in Settings to clear all data without uninstalling
• We have no ability to recover or access your data

Children's Privacy

RoutineLoop is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from children because we do not collect information from anyone.

Third-Party Services

RoutineLoop uses Google Firebase Analytics solely for the anonymous usage statistics described above, with Advertising ID collection and ad personalization disabled. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google processes this data. RoutineLoop does not integrate with any advertising or other data collection services.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Consent

By using RoutineLoop, you agree to this Privacy Policy. The only data processed off-device is anonymous usage statistics — your tasks, contacts, and reminders never leave your device. We believe in being transparent about what our app does and doesn't do.
